Does anyone else do the YouGov surveys? You get 50p to £1.50 for each survey you do (they aren't too long) and they have a few prize surveys as well. Once you've reached £50 you get a cheque!

Been doing it a few months now, upto a tenner. Do seem to be getting more surveys recently though, seems to be the more you do the more you get. I have seen a newspaper report quoting a YouGov survey that I actually completed which was great!

If you fancy trying it, here's a link:

http://www.yougov.com/users/registrationintro_ref.asp?refid=462558&jID=3&sID=1

(PTS Referral link) You get £1 for joining and then money for each survey, PTS get whatever you do for your first three months.
Then when you get to £50 a lovely cheque comes your way!

I'mup for all that sort of stuff! I am registered with Pinecone research but never seem to get surveys. They pay in Luncheon vouchers which is good though.

Does anyone who does Test and Vote get many surveys?
I've been with them for ages and I think have only managed to complete one survey. I never fit the profile. I recently signed up my OH and he got his first survey today and doesn't fit the profile.
It seems to take a long time to build up points from clicks and I've not tested a product for them yet.

LOL Thanks Pearls:clap2: , I don't get the £1 you do, but I will receive equivalent amounts in survey credit for each survey you complete during your first three months of membership. Probably means you won't get any surveys till 3months and a day lol!:D

I've just signed up for this Suzy, through your link. Looks a reasonable reward rate.
I did a survey this morning for Global Opinion Panels which said I would get 900 points for a survey taking around 30 minutes.
I checked afterwards how many points I already had and what they are worth.
A £5 voucher is worth 9000 points. So they are offering about £1 an hour.

I think it does take a while to get to the magic £50, but the surveys themselves never take that long to do, and they do pay out once you get there. I have started doing the prize surveys too as they are fun but also seem to increase the amount of other surveys you get,

tiger

Suzy, I just did my first paid survey. Just letting you know so you can start planning what to spend your share on. It was 50p!

I've been doing YouGov surveys for well over a year, and have just reached £30, so you won't make your fortune very quickly. However, it is quite fun if you're watching the telly or reading the paper and see the results of a survey you took part in!

Yeah, it does take a while to build up, but they never take very long, and as you say, it's nice when a survey you've done is mentioned! I like the idea that you do have to get up to £50 as it keeps you going!

Tiger, decisions, decisions, decisions lol! ;)

tiger

It took a long time for me to get enough points to claim an HMV voucher, but its taking a long time for them to send it to me. I'll have to chase them up again.

BTW welcome to the forum champagnegal. :)

There seem to be a lot more surveys around at the moment. I had a survey (don't think it was paid) asking if I'd like more surveys, I said yes (of course ;)) and have had a few since then. I didn't take much notice of it for the first few months, but have done quite well this quarter.

I am one of the lucky ones that get to be on the mums survey panel for tesco, they send me a survey every 3 months and I complete and get 50 points! They also send me free samples of baby products to try, had a pack of pampers pull ups last time! I think they are going to open the panel up to more people soon!

Wonder if anyone can help...I reached my first £50 a month ago but no cheque has been sent. I've submitted a couple of queries but have had no reply and am getting a bit frustrated. Also starting to wonder whether I will ever get my money, I've been a member since 2005 so its been a long time waiting for some reward. Has anyone ever had a problem with them before? Also does anyone know of any other way of contacting them rather than using the query online form?

thanks
dq.

I've not claimed yet so don't know, but I wonder if it is that payments are made at a particular time of the month. You may have just missed a payment date when you claimed. I would wait a little longer before getting worried about it.

I reached the £50 target a couple of weeks ago, I did not have to claim they automatically sent me a cheque within a week. I have been a member since Nov 05 - so it has taken me two years to reach the magical £50.

only had one cheque for £50 in around six years from yougov.

At least you get paid regularly and quite well compared to most survey sites, with p..., sometimes get products to try, and they are quite frequent.

I've £49.50 in my YouGov account now and it's taken almost two years to get that.

UKlego, don't give up on Pinecone. For me they have been by far the most profitable of all the survey companies. It's good when you get a product to test because as well as having a freebie you get a followup survey and another payment.

No, I haven't had to ask for the payment. As soon as I finished a survey last night the total reset itself and there's a £50 payment pending.
It's been so slow in building up but £50 is a useful amount to receive.
Andylaine, do you ever just log into your account to see if there are any surveys or comp questions? I've found it seems to trigger more when I do that.

thanks Tiger, will try that. I dont generally log in, just wait for the emails so I will have a go logging in regularly and see if it makes any difference, fingers crossed.

I did sign up to the You Gov select and premier panels, but you only get entered for a prize draw with these and since I started doing them Ive noticed the number of paid survey invites really dropped. Im going to stop doing these aswell and see what happens.
