OK,

Here's my spec;
Male, 54, 'Retired', clean licence :)
Renault Espace 2ltr.,
Parked 'On drive',
Fully Comp.,
'Madame' as named driver [3 speeding points :fish:],

+ Protected NCD [65%].,
+ Legal Protection,
+ Green Flag Option 4 [Top of the domestic range] ---> http://www.greenflag.co.uk/breakdown/
+ 90 days 'Euro-Trips' inc.,

£201.

Less £100 Q/co..........!

Well worthwhile me cancelling my current Motor Ins. early [for a small refund] and re-insuring whilst there's these 'inducements' on offer.

Pru. may not be the cheapest 'base quote' [and they don't insure 'Under 21's] but the included 'frilly bits' mean my effective equivalent insurance spend will be say, £45.00 ish. [ Won't be buying A.A. or R.A.C.].

Best,

B..

Lordy! That's good!

[My 'Priviledge' Quote];-

Ms. Lumley said something like Hoppittt!...........[the 2nd. word was 'off'].

'£385 and no 'lucky-bag bits'!

So indeed, I duly 'opptitt'.

Just gone on via quidco too and my quote was less than I was going to pay at £250 so gone ahead with it and hope to get my £100 cb too (oh and I have also finally cancelled the extra bit I pay my bank each month - Addtions + which I kept on for the breakdown cover, but this policy gives me free cover so even more of a saving - Yippee)

Thanks for the tip baffled

If I were to buy that G/Flag "Recovery PLUS" as stand-alone breakdown cover the cost would be......£141.75!

Just one thing, it didn't mention the 'green flag' bit in the online quote - but does show it on their home page as free up till end August (not sure this is ther right date) anyway thought I would wait till I get the paperwork as don't want to phone them and possibly invalidate my cb.....

Pru did me a great quote (even better with the Quidco cash of course) - when i got a quote from Tesco today, it was about £400 more!
