Pro's: Big house, all 3 bedrooms had bathroom attached, next door to a Publix for easy shopping.
Con's: Non, had a lovely time there!!
Other things to note: Some houses can be a bit of a trek from the pool in the heat, have to confess to driving there a couple of times!! Easy access to H27 and 192, quick access to Disney. About a 20 minute drive to Seaworld and Aquatica.

Where: Ocean Pointe Suites, Tavernier (Florida Keys)
When: August 2008
Pro's: Lovely apartment, had ipod docking station and lots of other gadgets. Got free breakfast even though wasn't supposed to!! Feral cats are very friendly!
Con's: Some idiot in apartment block decided it was fun to play their music very loud until very late! Security very good and went looking for them! Beach their is rubbish!
Other things to note: We were very unlucky to get effects of Hurrican Gustav so weather was a bit pants for half our stay! I'm sure the Keys are lovely, I just didn't get to see much of them! Keep your eyes open for dolphins swimming in the ocean that you can see from your room, was amazing. Also saw very large iguana there!

Where: Diamondhead Beach Resort, Fort Myers Beach
When: August 2008
Pro's: Right on the beach, and on the main road through Fort Myers Beach. Pool lovely, although not that big. Jacuzzi's are very hot. Some activities for kids are organised, although you have to pay for some.
Con's: Only 1 bedroom so kids had that and I slept on the sleeper sofa - not comfortable!!
Other things to note: Free computer with internet access in lobby. Kitchen just comprises of a microwave and toaster, no cooker.

Where: Bahama Bay Resort
When: April 2008
Pro's: 15 mins from Disney, Condos huge, Clean, 2 bathrooms, Full Kitchen, Very Quiet, Set around Lake Davenport which is beautiful...Children saw some baby turtles. Also has its own beach (children saw a crocodile)!!! Very close to Walmart.
Con's: Restaurant on site was a bit pricey for pizza...on site shop was expensive.

When: 8th November 2008
Pro's: Very large villa, beautifully decorated and furnished. Large pool, loads of towels, fantastic washing machine and drier. Very clean.
Con's: Having to come home.
Other things to note: Located just off 27, within easy reach of I.4, shops and restaurants. Car hire with Dollar was fantastic.

Where: Superior homes, West Stonebridge Community
When: February 2009
Pro's: Very large villa, beautifully decorated and furnished. Large pool, loads of towels, fantastic washing machine (which broke but got repaired next day)and drier. Very clean. Bought pool heating for 1 week and they left it on for 2 weeks :-). Virgin were excellant.
Con's: They decided to drill a water hole next to our villa at the back 2 days of noise. On arrival arrived at virgin rental shop to collect keys but no one there (getting late) no one had informed us of key code to out side safe to get our documents of where villa was. Phoned all the numbers and eventually the emergancy number told us the combination. If we hadnt taken our mobile it would have been serious hassle to try and find a payphone and change dollars for it etc
Other things to note: Located just off U27, within easy reach of I.4, shops and restaurants. Car hire with Dollar was Great so simple. Downtown checkin absolutely brilliant gave us 5-6 hours extra in the parks.

Con's: Don't answer phone unless you want to attend a timeshare presentation

Pros:Great location on the I drive, you can walk to wet n wild and universal, all you can eat buffets just across the road.
