Want to go & see a matinee performance of We Will Rock You end Oct/Nov time. Ideally want stalls or circle.

Any ideas?

Be very careful buying on line unless it is an official ticket agency
I use Ticketmaster but they are not cheap

Have you tried lastminute.com? We got tickets for Blue Man Group through them last year, they were fab! We went for a deal that was a combination of a meal in Covent Garden and tickets for the show and it was very good value. HTH.

Look at theatremonkey.co.uk (or perhaps its .com). They tend to list any promos if you read their review of a particular show.

On the day, the TKTS booths are your best bet for half-price top-price seats. You can see todays stuff here: http://www.officiallondontheatre.co.uk/tkts/today after 11am.

Without wishing to state the obvious, if you're looking for cheap Saturday night tickets then it is unlikely to happen. Saturday Matinee may be possible - lastminute often discounts those. Midweek is far easier. Oct will also be easier than November, I'd guess, as - from November - people tend to have a day in London to do Christmas shopping and see a show. January is always very easy to get good half-price seats.

If you go through www.officiallondontheatre.co.uk to buy your tickets through ticketmaster, you get charged less in booking and service charges, not really sure why!

There is a cheap ticket place in Convent gardens but Im not sure if you would be lucky as We will Rock you is very popular and does sell out. Well worth every penny though. Fab show..the best Ive seen.

The only genuine cheap ticket places are the TKTS booths. In general, the other places that advertise 'cheap tickets' are rip-off merchants who will sell you a £45 ticket which turns out to be in the £18 'gods' area. Some quiet theatres may release some tickets to some of these guys but you really should avoid them. You certainly won't get the top few shows without paying a fat premium to face value.
