When I used to photograph silver for ebay I found it best to put it in a good light so that it didn't need flash as that was what made it blur. Just use a plain dark background in a well lit place but not in direct sunshine.
A scanner is good for picking up details. Things that wouldn't photograph scanned really well.

I am 123claira on ebay and I basically sell everything that isn't nailed down in my house and I have been known to pick up some very cheap (but excellent quality!!) brazil shorts for £2.50 at my local Q&S during a certain world cup and sell them for a lovely £7.50 to some very generous londoners who were thrilled. I would love to work out the profit margin but I'm afraid I got an un graded in my maths o' level!!! any help much appreciated.

ah right, yes I've seen the ready made ones, I thought you were being enterprising and making your own! In fact I was going to ask you if you'd do me a Fifi one for DDs birthday next month - but then i thought, hang on, I could probably do it myself
Whats in the wrappers then - do you know? I'm sure I could get some Fifi stickers or something - that would do wouldn't it?

6th February 2007, 20:41
There are 10 prizes in the ones I have listed, they are badge, jigsaw, door plaque, photo frame, game, stickers, puzzle etc. main prize is post office set in postman pat and tool kit in the Bob one.

Im sure its not that difficult, but some people would rather throw a bit of money at a problem than do it themselves (and sometimes why not!)
if I can make a few pennies then I'm happy too.
Im sure you will do a good job, a FiFi one sounds like a good idea.

Not wishing to scaremonger, but imho associating your PTS identity, with your ebay identity, can now provide an easy link to your posts and your home address,Tesco CC details, if anyone wanted to find out, all they have to do, is win one of your auctions, and the info is theirs.....not important you may think.....theres plenty of big moc/big points collectors may disagree.......

Agreed!
I am a platinum powerseller on ebay and sell stuff that may be good for cats, or may not, who knows, only me.

I said this about swaps/freebies ages ago,it may be the reason why some c.c points vouchers go for way over their deal value.

My ebay address is not tied to any clubcards so no chance of that. If someone from Tesco buy something from me on ebay they can do all they want but my household does not have a clubcard.
