We've just booked our Virgin holiday to florida using mostly deals vouchers, but unfortunately we are having to fly from Heathrow to Miami as the Gatwick orlando flights are full. This means we will have to overnight the day before. Does anyone know what hotels are at heathrow using deals and how close are they to the airport???
many thanks Sunny:cool:

I stayed at the Thistle hotel last summer, only about 7mins away on the hotel shuttle. Rooms quite small but clean and I think was only about ?75 for the room for b&b. Good value for money if you are not looking for 5star facilities. Think there was a gym, pool, bar and restaurant.

I've stayed at the Thistle before. Only a 10mins ride away on the bus from the terminal. Think taxi was about ?8. B&B, bar & meals. Nice enough. Think it was about ?75 for the room. And they take tesco vouchers. :)

I am looking to stay at Manchester but need to know if there is a 'cheap' one on site or walking distance. Will have 23 children and don't want to get a taxi as I won't let my children i a car unless they have their car seats.

I know there is one on site but when i looked it was way over ?300 for the night for all of us. 3 adults and 3 children

anyone know a decent hotel!!!

I dont think you can use deals for hotel and parking

11th October 2007, 09:01
k thanks, shame

Look at the holidayextras website (with Quidco cashback) - may well end up being better value than using deals anyway.

11th October 2007, 09:44
Holidyextras is a good site, we have stayed at bargain prices in the Crowne Plaza booked as an 'undercover 4 star hotel' (you can always work out which one it is as they give it away with the hotel info they provide!).

Anyone know if there are any hotels near to Heathrow, preferably including parking, which I can pay for with deals? Going April time.

26th January 2008, 11:20
The Hilton in Terminal 4 (or, indeed, the Hilton at Paddington Station next to the Heathrow Express train) are probably available. However, the T4 Hilton is VERY premium priced as its the only hotel linked to any of the terminals, and you'd be better off paying real money and staying elsewhere, especially if your flight is not from T4. I'm pretty sure that you can't use Deals with any 'park and fly' packages the Hilton may offer.

If you want 15 days or so car parking including, you'll have to use someone like Holiday Extras who have packages with parking with most of the LHR hotels. Don't forget quidco cashback if you use them. These are excellent deals, since the parking on its own would cost you more than the hotel + parking package.

The Jurys Inn at Hatton Cross is not a bad choice, because it is next to Hatton Cross tube station. This lets you take the tube into the airport rather than the shuttle buses. Do check out tripadvisor.com before you book anywhere, because Heathrow hotels are notoriously cr*p given the captive market.
