I joined Lightspeed ages ago and never got a single survey to fill in - rejoined again recently and have now got 700 points in under two weeks. Anyone else experienced this with them?

It takes ages to get the vouchers from them after you claim.

I thought Lightspeed just awarded extra entries into their monthly prize draws. I used to get loads of surveys from them, but never won anything, so gradually dropped away.

when I click on the Lightspeed points thing it says redeem for blah blah blah think there is also a prize draw thing as well

I hope you signed up via pigsback Gizmos. My surveys appear to have dried up recently. I'm waiting for a voucher to arrive from them at the moment. I was gutted that they've dropped Next as a voucher choice. Always handy for me to pop into peoples birthday cards

when I first started with lightspeed it was only prize draw entries they offered, then they started offering vouchers. I 've been very lucky and have had about £35, my OH has had £30.
I noticed 2 weeks ago that the rewards have changed. Be careful with paypal, I'm still waiting 10 days on and no reply to emails. Amazon on the other hand I had the voucher code within 24 hours.

Took me 3 weeks to get a voucher code off them for my first £10 . Ordered the voucher itself over 3 weeks ago and still waiting for it. Chased them this week - no reply.

Have done Lightspeed surveys for about a year and i seem to either get loads at once, or nothing. Had about £20 or £30 from them though and have had the codes through no problem, although they are a little slow!

I had three surveys in one day and one of those was 300 points

I haven't had any surveys off them in the last couple of weeks but I had quite a few over xmas. I managed to get enough for a waterstones voucher to give my cousin for xmas (yes I'm tight). I remember it took a while for the voucher to come through luckily it arrived in time for xmas.

I finally got my voucher last week.

I came on here to post that I had just received a lucrative survey so if anyone else were to get it , they should have a go.

The funny thing is , it was also for Shell Oil but was worth 1000 points (1150 points needed for a £10 PayPal payment) so about £9 for 15 mins of time - not bad I thought.

I wonder if yours was the same as mine Dorothy ?

Its M6263 if anyone else gets it.

Lightspeed has definitely got better.
It used to take ages to claim a voucher.
I claimed an Amazon e-voucher today and it arrived in my inbox almost immediately.

Personally I much preferred the old system rather than the new one but that's just me - never had any problems getting the vouchers.

Would go for Paypal money but not only do you now have to earn more points than previously, you also have to pay to receive the money!!

very true with Paypal unless you set up an account just for this. However I would use the paypal money just for "treats" from ebay

Never claimed points as yet.

But, the number of surveys seems to be on the increase.
And its not just Lightspeed. It seems across the board.

Is it like a rolling ball?
The more, and quicker, you enter, the more you get sent??

Ive been with lightspeed for some time and noticed that the July 2006 £2000 prize draw never happened, always excuses from Loren when i enquired as to when winners would be announced on the winners page, there was still nothing in Jan 07,suddenly the website layout changed again and now no mention of that draw,or any of the past monthly draws that also never happened,or if they did no winners ever announced.

I have been stuck on 1010 for a month and was really hoping to get an amazon voucher before christmas!

bluetimone97, somebody recently showed me that you get more money for your points by having it paid through paypal. Having looked at it, I notice you can get smaller amounts paid in. I think it starts at £1.

Thank you Tiger, I usually do this, but being christmas thought I would use it for amazon, but may have to give up and get paypal again (although bear in mind you lose fees) if do not get any offers this week.

I've never had fees taken from paypal when I've received money from Lightspeed. I get it done £1 at a time because you get the same £ for your points anyway.

I think that is the trouble with lightspeed, instead of being honest and saying you are not what we are looking for, they lie and say closed.

No, I haven't bothered with the quick matches recently. I'd better log in and do some. I hadn't thought of that, thanks TD. :)

I am getting sick of doing surveys for Lightspeed, had two to do both of them took over 15 minutes, one was about coffee and the other was about sauces. Yes you've guess after answering at least 15 questions, I am not eligible for them, what a waste of time!

i had completed the survey on soft drinks 2 days ago when their system crashed - my PC was otherwise working fine! So far no points or answer to my e-mail!
