Had a really bad time booking our hol to florida, being left on the phone for hours,then accomadation was not booked etc etc, anyway i wrote a letter and told them of my experience and they have sent me £50 as a goodwill gesture!! I was hoping for free upgrades! but its better than nothing as i got the £100 voucher off as well and not going until next year:clap2::clap2::clap2:

Just goes to show how different peoples experiences can be. I spoke to a lovely lady yesterday, was booked and sorted within 15 minutes yesterday morning and that was on brochure release date.

my mum is having problems. First, she was given 4 different prices for a worldwide holiday. Anyway managed to book at the cheapest price which was good, but each phone call for a price took over 30 mins.

Since the beginning of April she has been trying to book an upgrade at the hotel with cash. So far this has taken 7 phone calls and it is still not resolved. A nice chap is suppose to phone back on Monday. we will see. She says if she was paying cash for a holiday, she will never ever go with Virgin. She flys all over the world and has never had such appauling service.
