Disney hotel combined with beach resort anyone?

iv just been looking on virgin site and they do 7dats in disney pop resort and 7 days in sirata beach resort has anyone ever done this if so any advice/recomendations or guidelines would be appreciated

Yes we've done this type of holiday (not the Sirata Beach though) and find it's a lovely way to relax on the beach & do more low key stuff after full on theme parking which can get quite tiring.

I would say that 7 days is not enough to do all of Disney properly though, if you were going to include the water parks too.

If you are tied to 14 nights, and there is flexibility, my suggestion would be something like 9 nights Orlando / 5 beach rather than 7 & 7.

do you think it be better staying in disney hotel then maybe just going to beach for a day or 2 driving or would that be to tiring alternate days that is towrds end of hol

I think that would work well too :) especially if you did an overnight stay at the beach? I love the beaches on the Gulf Coast. They are so beautiful and the sand's like talc :)
