Bought one the other week and have been using it about three times a week and not sure if this is the norm but the wee bit of "orange peel" I had has gone!!!!! Could also be that each time I have used it I have also lavished in loads of the body lotions afterwards. Anyone else use a brush??

I should have posted a before and after picture hopefully if I keep up this routine I'll be a "beach babe".

Have never bothered much with skin stuff before- basically get in shower, use a sponge and shower gel and thats it - out of shower dry and dress!

Oooh looks like it does work - decided to do a google

Body brushing (http://www.annecollins.com/cellulite/body-brushing.htm)

it says dry on that article but I've been doing it in the shower as the brush is softer then - the brush wasnt cheap (£8 from Boots - I got it whilst getting the Botanics and No7 stuff!), but am well pleased I got it now.

I used to do it, definately works as improves circulation. Giz aka pamela, stop making us all jealous!

Think mine could do with a bit more than body brushing, air brushing!

have you used it yet Ninja? I've noticed another thing as well that the hair on legs doesn't seem to grow as quickly - maybe I am just a strange girl

I should have taken before and after pictures - seems good and you feel energised afterwards - if nothing else the skin is a lot smoother as well - think someone else was going to do it as well

Def think i will get one the next time i'm shopping. I have terrible dry skin, so i'm hoping it will exfoliate some of the dead skin...tasty ;)

I was reading about it. It's supposed to help the body to get rid of toxins and help reduce cellulite.

use a moisturising shower gel (or smilar) on brush otherwise it may cause irritation

This was on "This Morning" on tuesday and it looked really good and seemed to work too!

L'oreal - New perfectslim pro-massage £13.99

This product promises to provide a fuss free and efficient solution to fighting stubborn areas of cellulite. It is a two step treatment, which combines a preparatory kneading massage with a targeted post massage firming concentrate. The massage rollers promise to actively massage the affected area in kneading strokes, this intensive massage action promises to help to stimulate the skin's micro-circulation and encourages tissue drainage. The concentrate is formulated with Co-Caffeine Cx and promises an immediate tightening and firming effect on the skin. Step 1: Apply the rollers to the affected area and massage. Use 2 to 3 strokes for a mild treatment and up to 5 for stubborn or more visible cellulite. Step 2: After step 1 apply the concentrate to all areas that have been massaged.

Kate says, 'it took a while for me to notice any improvement on my thighs and I didn't think that this product was going to do anything, but after about 4 weeks it started to work. I feel that the pimples on my thighs have reduced and my legs now feel a lot smoother. I have been massaging the product into my legs for about 4 mins in the morning and then again in the evening after my shower. I would like to continue using this product and didn't find it an inconvenience at all. The application was easy and the product had a nice smell.'

If your DW ever reads any of your comments about her on here, you might find her inflicting some pain with that yard broom.

Are you girls still body brushing? I got one at xmas from my mum in a set and used it once then forgot about it. I might dig it out tonight and have a wee beauty spa, and face mask. Its about time I was pampering myself a bit more plus, Im back at college in Sept with a whole new class, so want to look half decent.

Gizmos

I've not done it for a month or but will start again

give yourself a pamper night and open a glass of wine - its nice to spend some time on yourself

Yeah, I have 4 kids, so its hard to get any "Me" time. and if it wasnt for this board and all the free stuff im getting from Tesco via the vouchers, I wouldnt have such nice stuff to bathe in or wash my hair, so thanks everyone for all the help. I will retreat to the bathroom while im still in the mood, and speak to you all in a while x

I body brush, all be it briefly, pretty much every day, and do feel my skin benefits from it. I've also just bought loads of tubes of Nivea Anti-cellulite Cream while it is on half price offer in Tesco.. using H&B of course :D

I've been using that twice a day for a few days now and have to say that I think my skin feels smoother. It feels cool when you apply it, which apparently speeds up the blood circulation. As its cost me next to nothing, any improvement has to be worthwhile in my book.. :)

I have to agree on the Nivea AC Cream, its really nice, non greasy etc and yes I do believe it makes a difference, its really funny though I put this on while I was getting ready the other day and was stood in front of my full length mirror I noticed the leg I had just put it on had changed colour, as soon as I put cream on the other leg it evened them up so not sure how it works but obviously effects something to make my legs change colour.

Tesco have had the Nivea Anti-cellulite cream at half price recently [£4.99] so have bought 2 at a time, plus berry toothpaste at 10p, then used £2.50 H&B, and 2 x Quit Kit £1.25, plus 40p Quit Colgate coupon against each tube of toothpaste, and as many moc's as I can get away with.. :D

I bought a natural bristle brush the other day ready to give it a go again. My OH was around, so I thought it might be nice if he did it for me - bad mistake! He's normally so gentle, and if I'm upset and he tries to wipe a tear away or wipe my nose it's not normally effective because he's too gentle.
However put a brush in his hand and he's a completely different man - I was yelping as he was dragging it up my legs, not as sensual an experience as I expected, now I do it myself!
