Southern trains now going mad.
There is now an advance booking possible for train journeys Brighton to London ?3 each way (?2 with a railcard!)
Only applies to brighton so I can see it will benefit some totravel on (say) a cheap day ticket intol Brighton having booked the advance ticket and overall saving a lot.

Valid for standard class only.
? Reservations are Compulsory and must be booked by 18:00 hours before the day of travel.
? Railcard discounts are valid with Senior, Young Persons, Family, Disabled and HM Forces Railcards only.
? Child discounts are also available.
? Upgrading to First Class or excess to any other ticket type is not available.
? Changes to travel plans are permitted however subject to a ?10 administration fee per ticket
? No Break of journey is permitted in either direction.
? No refunds are available.
? Not valid on services provided by other Train Operating Companies.
IT SEEMS SOME JOUIRN EYS ADVANCE BOOKING MAY BE MORE THAN ?3 BUT NO DETAILS IN THEIR TERMS - SUGGEST YOU BOOK WELL AHEAD SO YOU KNOW YOU ARE SAVING
Can be booked at any station that takes reservations!

Bookable at rail stations.
I had no problem booking at another station for travel from Brighton to London
Beware: online Southern for Advance tickets use an agency who charge fees.
