CIAO surveys and reviews Pays from 50p to over £3.00 per survey. Transfer payment to bank

Globaltestmarket (http://www.globaltestmarket.com/gtm/gtm/login.php?lang=E&p=) Pays 50 points upwards. Points are fixed against the US Dollar at 5 cents per Market point. Claim when you have 1000 points. Cheque sent in post.

IPSOS (http://www.iap-interactive.com/FirstPage.aspx?param=3) Pays in Boots, Argos or Smiths vouchers, in £2, £5 or £10 denominations.

NewVista (www.newvistalive.com) Pays from £1 -£4 per survey - payment by cheque when you reach £50. You need to be quick because the surveys soon close.

Lightspeed (http://uk.lightspeedpanel.com/index.html)Average 3 or 3 surveys a week. 100, 200 or sometimes 300 points per survey. 545 points for a £5 reward. Choice of e-vouchers or paypal payment.

My Survey (http://uk.mysurvey.com/)Average 1 survey a week. Points can be exchanged for vouchers, Necar points or donated to charity.
Pinecone - pays £4 per survey in luncheon vouchers or paypal. The only way you can join is if your are lucky enough to spot a working link in a banner or if they are recruiting and ask members to refer people. Keep checking on here for referrals which, by the way, the member gets nothing for doing so is allowed.

Valued Opinions (http://www.valuedopinions.co.uk/members/Login.aspx) Average 2 - 3 surveys a week. Pay £1 - £2 a survey. Minimum of £5 to claim a wide choice of vouchers which arrive in 21 - 28 days.

YouGov (http://my.yougov.com/register.aspx?referral=9ed8b292-1444-4b56-8c7d-7aa36f62f9ed) Not frequent, maybe 1 a week. Pays from 50p - £1 a survey. Pays out a cheque when you get to £50 which takes a while.

Ciao - average 2 a day at the moment qualify for most of the surveys
pay out in cash. 7-14 days to arrive in account

Valued opinions - average 2-3 a week normally get thru You need a min £5 to request a reward. Pay anything from £1 - £2 a survey
pay out in vouchers Quite a wide choice. Up to 28 days for vouchers to arrive , usually 21 days though.

lightspeed - average 2-3 a week qualifying is a bit hit and miss. you need a min 545 points for a reward. surveys pay 100 - 200 points with the odd one 300 +
rewards have just changed Paypal, Amazon and HMV e codes I think. E codes instant, payapl a few days.

TNS average- 1 a week usually 200-230 Nectar points. Added to Nectar account every month

you gov - lucky to get 1 a week, if you refer someone you also get a % of their survey reward. Pay 50p -£1 per survey and can be long winded
pays out in cash but not till you get to £50 been a member for 2 months and I have £10

I am signed up for all these as well as hubby

After about a year I'm £3.75 away from getting a £50 voucher from YouGov! Don't mind as the surveys never take too long to do.

Signed upto Juicy Brains but not heard from them. Do I need to keep logging into check for surveys or will they e-mail me?

I signed up to Juicy Brains last week, and a few days later I received an email inviting me to participate in a survey. The survey was quick and easy and I earned £1 towards qualifying for an amazon voucher.

I've found some of their surveys tediously long, and one can wait months to get their rewards through - so I must admit I lost interest . . ...

Maybe I should revisit - but never seem to have the time - am always in Tesco!!!!!

I think they tend to have the links on forums, family type webstes, they don't like links to them posted by others on forums though. I found a link a long while back now and posted very cryptically ;) so if you ever see one of my posts and think I've flipped, that'll be it.

The best way to spend your day is by walking through a lovely pine forest eating an ice-cream cone it can be difficult being allowed in the pine forest for the first time but once you are there it is heaven.;);)

shop and scan...
you scan your shopping then transmit the data
you get £1 a week plus they have special surveys which pay extra
they pay out in vouchers.. i take argos ones

gfk...
you find the tv shows you've watched and then answer a quick survey on them
i like this as you can also say what you like or don't like in the text box
you get paid by going into a lottery/draw (chances of winning are 7:1) You can do one a day. Payment is cash for high value and amazon vouchers for £5

If its any help I joined TNS through the Nectar website. If you dont have a nectar card you can register, then click on 'collect points' , select TNS and there is a link there to sign up. Once you have signed up you should get an email saying they have your details and will contact you. Dont worry if you dont hear straightaway, it took about another 2 weeks before I got an email with my access details. It took about a month for the nectar points to go on after the first survey, but since then they go on the TNS site quite quickly and then onto the Nectar site 2-3 days later. Hope that helps.

Whilst there area few main survey sites that consistently perform, I find that long term it's really worth taking time to sign up with some of the less active accounts as whilst you won't get as many surveys from each site, they all add up, often pay better, and after a year or so you'll find that each month one or another will reach minimum payout producing quite a regular income.

My recommendation then would be to visit one of the free online survey directories (I use whichsurveys.com as they sort the sites geographically and have 6 pages of UK sites) and simply work through the listings. Use roboform to speed up filling in applications and remembering all your passwords.

Priority should be such sites as Global Test Market, Valued Opinions, Lightspeed, TNS, IPSOS and Test&Vote and then add It's Your View, Ciao, ACOP before working through the rest as and when you get the chance. If you are in a position to refer others, Global Test market, It's Your View, Ciao and Yougov in particular offer a good chance of extra earnings.

I've added a couple more to the first post.
With the credit crunch affecting more and more people it's worth seeing if you can supplement your income with any of these.

I'll add some more later.

Please feel free to post any comments you have on any survey sites you use.

Have emailed their helpdesk and had no replies for three weeks so think I have lost the cash as I asked to be paid when a certain amount was reached and I requested it - don't know wether to carry on doing them and hope I get paid or stop and lose the two i have done!!! So - not very impressed!

Ive been with MySurvey for over a year. it is a reputable company, it changed its name recently from TNS which might be why you cant find anything ( consumer pulse is also with the same group). I get quite a lot of surveys from them and get paid in nectar points which get added automatically to your nectar account once a month. think you can also get paid in amazon vouchers. hth

Just an e mail that juicy brains is closing; take your Amazon voucher if your balance is £5.00 or more.

We've come to a BIG decision

From the 10th December 2008 we’re closing the JuicyBrains Panel and replacing it with a JuicyBrains Community. This is part of a larger change in direction from asking you to take standard surveys to seeking your involvement in creating new products and services for the big brands and companies we work for. (More details at the end of the letter.)

Since we’re closing the JuicyBrains Panel, we wanted to ensure there was a replacement for those of you who enjoy doing standard surveys and being paid for your participation. So, we’d like to recommend a partner of ours, Ciao, who would welcome you with open arms. In addition to standard surveys they also ask their panellists for reviews of existing products and they offer incentives for both activities. If you’d like to join Ciao, just click here.

THE JUICYBRAINS COMMUNITY

In the coming weeks, we’ll email you with a link to join the JuicyBrains Community. This has been designed to connect big brands who need innovation with those of you who’d like to be involved in creating new ideas and services. As a community member you can select the innovation projects you’re interested in and interact with a large team including the brand team over a number of weeks to invent new ideas. Instead of paying small incentives for participation, there will be larger prizes for the best ideas as ranked by your fellow team members.

IMPORTANT. Remember we’ll be closing the Juicy Brains Panel on 10th December 2008. If, before that date, your credit balance is £5 or more, please make sure you collect your Amazon vouchers. Unfortunately we won’t be able to issue any vouchers after 10th December, so any outstanding credit balances after that date will lapse.

I am currently liking Toluna (I know a lot of people don't like them as they are extremely slow to send out the vouchers and sometimes you do seem to complete a lot of the survey before thet decide you are not suitable).

I receive at least two surveys every day and find that the quicker you attempt them the more likely you are to be suitable (usually 2000 - 3000 points but sometimes up to 8000). They also have daily opinions which I find you can earn around 1000 points a day in just a few minutes - 80,000 points are required to get a £15 Love to Shop voucher.

I also like Valued Opinions but on receive 1 to 2 surveys a week - usually valued at 75p to £1 each for about 20 mins work.

Hope this helps - Good Luck

I don't think Opinionbar have been mentioned. I find them quite good - not too many surveys but quite reasonably paid. They pay into your bank account. https://www.opinionbar.com

I also mainly do Pinecone, TNS, Valued Opinions, Harris, Yougov, and the occasional well paid Toluna survey (although am determined to leave them once I have enough points for a voucher).

How's everyone doing with surveys?
I've a nice stash of about £150 worth of vouchers towards Christmas spending, even though I've spent some during the year. Some are from surveys and others from consumer pulse, shop & scan and reward TV. I've £40 of vouchers on order and Mutual Points will be sending me a £20 cheque next month. I'm £4 away from a £50 cheque from New Vista, so hope I get that before Christmas.

I just thought it was worth bumping with Christmas coming. The vouchers come in handy.
I try to earn something every day even if it's only 50p.

I'm finding Valued Opinions quite good at the moment and seem to mostly get accepted. New Vista are good too. They pay well but you have to earn £50 before you can withdraw.
I was getting a lot of surveys from Ipsos but they seem to have dried up at the moment which is a pity as I nearly have enough points for a £10 voucher.

I've just changed my opinion of Toluna. I got fed up with the time it took to accumulate points for a voucher, so didn't bother for a long time. I've had 40,000 points in there for ages but recently decided to do some surveys to try and get to the 80,000 needed for a voucher. I've not only earned enough for the voucher but I already have another 19,000 points in the account. I like the way that when you vote you get offered surveys.

I was doing a survey for Mutual Points earlier. It happened to by a survey from New Vista but it crashed when I was about halfway. There was no way to get back to where I was so I gave up and then found a survey from New Vista in my emails. When I started it I found it was the same survey.
Mutual Points were going to pay me 75 points which I think would be worth about 50p. New Vista have paid me £4 for it. Some difference!
New Vista are one of the best sites for me. I got a £50 cheque from them last November and am now £3.50 away from getting another.

How do you get onto New Vista - is it by invitation or do you just apply and then wait?

I just found the web site and applied. As far as I can see no invite needed and I guess its just a case of waiting now.

You do get points for refering someone but it doesn't show how much and we aren't allowed to post links for personal gain so it's best to just apply.
I can't remember how I joined originally. I've been doing the surveys since late 2007 but they seem to have got better in the last year.

Well done . New Vista must like you..I keep on getting screened out for them. However, in saying that I still have about £2x odd. Just seems to be taking forever to get to £50 :)

Is anyone doing global test market? Think they are a Canadian company and for getting 1000 points you get $50 (just over £30) sent by cheque. I find I can get this about every 6 wks or so.

I've just started with Global Test Market. Frequently get screened out but get lots of offers to enter surveys. Not far off 1000 points already.

I used to get quite a bit from them but half the surveys they send me now are not points but competition entries, which I just ignore, only interested in points.

Almost at my 3rd £50 from NewVista, also do valued opinion, shop & scan, consumer pulse, probably get the most from the last 2 as usually get at least £10 each per month.

Not sure if already mentioned but there's also Mumsurvey for those who are pregnant or have children under 1 year. Pay is quite good and also somethimes get things to test. Can withdraw by cheque at £5 or bacs at £10.

I don't tend to get cash surveys from consumer pulse...wonder what I am doing wrong.

have also decided to complain more often about new vista...have had £6 worth of surveys from them today :D

I dont get cash surveys from consumer pulse I just put in any of the required items I buy in once a week and get points which I then convert to £10 vouchers for various places. Bit like shop and scan except you dont scan you just input the items online. They also send me the odd survey which also gives me extra points - probably works out about £10-£15 worth of vouchers a month, similar amount for shop and scan.

What does ppl think here of Toluna surveys? I joined a month back, done lots of surveys for points but they dont credit the points straight away, they state they have a 6 week waiting time. Has anyone done Toluna and got the survey points always credited to their account?

I do Toluna and the points usually get credited to my account but as it takes so long you sometimes lose track of what is due. You can also complete some of the sponsored polls (under the explore heading) and get a few extra points and this sometimes take you to more surveys. My main problem is the amount of points you need to get anything decent which is 80,000, I have only had 3 rewards in as many years. Though when I get surveys with low points and long completion times I just delete as I hate long surveys. Also takes a while for the rewards to arrive.

Thanks, how longer is normal for the points to be credited in your experience as some have been 3 - 4 weeks and still nothing.

most of mine go on the following day for toluna

I find the rewards take forever though to come through. I've got one still waiting from January and for a while I was waiting for one for 5mths

On the plus side, they always have loads of surveys...I try to do 5000 points worth a day and so roughly get £40 of amazon vouchers a month. You also get product trials quite often through the normal surveys, as well as via registering for trials direct.

Yoursaypays seems an OK survey site. I've just reached the withdrawal amount of £20 on there and you can be paid either by Paypal or Amazon voucher. They have lots of small surveys and it seems to take a while to get to a decent amount but I found lots of surveys on the site that hadn't been sent to me directly and I've earned £5 in the last two days. I'm using IPSOS and not far off £10 since joining on the first of the month. Payment via the usual vouchers - says amazon payments are instant
