title is self-explanatory really!

fil is taking oh to collect our new dishwasher tomorrow (bargain from ebay lol) and i want to make him a nice irish stew to say thank you

grateful for any help :D

However, brisket beef or neck end of lamb should be fine pricewise [done nice and slow] and well tasty.

i like stew, my oh made stew and dumplings for dinner tonight and it was deliciousi like stew as well- made beef stew before...never authentic irish stew. you would think that with an irish family i would be well up on making it, but sadly not lol
