View Full Version : Free Fivers - Any Life Left In This?

Hi, folks. New member.
I've been with FreeFivers for about a year, but I find it a pretty confusing site. Anyway, with the disappearance of aberto, and now I can't find BuyCentral, is there any life left in the site regarding daily clicks?
If so, how do I find the blighters?

I can't help you there MM but wanted to say congrats on your first post. I'm going to get confused now, calling you different initials to the other site. lol

I thought I'd better add that I was joking Paula. I'm glad people are following me and others over from MSE. It's so nice on here that we can chat off topic without being told off and anyone who follows the pigsback thread closely will know who I'm talking about.

Tried it earlier today. Credited me with my visits. Just off to rep you.

I'm not spreading it about enough so I couldn't rep you. Many thanks anyway.

Hi, peeps. Thanks for all your replies, but I still can't find any "aberto" entries on FreeFivers. I understood that they'd removed all gambling and financial services sites, as mentioned in another thread here. I've been looking by putting "aberto" in the search box on the FF home page, btw.
I still find it a confusing site. In fact, I can't find any way of amassing a few pence without spending anything!!
"Repping" people ... "spreading it around" ... What kind of site have I got myself involved with here? ;)
I'm sure you'll soon get used to MM, Jules!

As I remember it the aberto and financial sites disappeared a few weeks ago. As I understand it you cannot access these sites if you had not already done so and they showed up in your history. If they are in your history then access it from there and they appear to be adding to your total. If you hadn't accessed them before then I think it unlikely you will be able to now.
Once you've started "repping" and "spreading it around" you'll wonder how you ever lived before :D

Thanks, BS.
But you know, I don't really think I can be a*sed! The sites are in my history, for some reason, but clicking on them doesn't seem to alter my account total.
I'm starting to get extremely cheesed off with clicking on sites for pence. I seem to spend ages clicking for next to nowt!

I haven't been back to it properly since being poorly at the weekend but will get back into the swing of things next week

No, Jules, but thanks for the suggestion.
To be honest, for no apparent reason I tried to get back on Quidco and, for some equally obscure reason it has actually let me back on! Maybe the broadband IP address isn't recognised as being, you know, un-mainland-ish.
Anyway, I've just been trying to build up my cash there. Much easier site to use than FreeFivers. Similar to TopCashBack, who were kind enough to let me on and send me a nice £50+ payment. :)
So now I'll have a go at the one you suggest ..

Ooh, just realised I can't. Chris advised me about this a few days ago.

The aberto ones seem to have died a death from my favourites list. Will not connect when clicked on. Link seems to be dead.

Aberto went ages ago.
There are some new Top Offer clicks (2 more) 15p a time

Aberto officially died a death ages ago, but if you had it in your log of favourites it paid out until a few days before my last post as long as you went via your favourite clicked links in date order. Doesn't seem much of a site anymore which is a pity because it was good.

My Aberto favourites have died a death too. Doesn't seem worth it without them

Too true. I await my final cheque from them with a tear in my eye.

Same here , I doubt very much I'll be doing freefivers dailys in the future.
it wouldn't be too bad if these 4 new click throughs actually tracked

Is anyone else curious as to why Freefivers offer you an extra £1 to roll your payment over to the next month?
And has anyone been paid recently? I've just been rolling mine over so haven't yet found out whether they do actually have any money to pay up at the end of my rolling.

I had rolled mine over just to get the £1 lol. This month though I gave in and have received my cheque no probs.
Also I won't be doing it anymore but when I still had money in there I was so maybe this is why they rollover,To keep ppl with them.

ive rolled mine over twice
first time i didn't have enough for a payment so it was £1 for nothing
i'm saving mine for christmas.. as hoping to have a totally free christmas this year
I keep saying i'm going to stop FF but the wibsite is easy and simple and i just keep coming back. Some of the other cashback sites i find messy and confusing and find it hard to keep going with them

Thank you both.
I think I'll take mine out in November and be done with it, my clicking has become very half hearted of late anyway and I've still got a couple of sites to work on to reach the payout target.
Free Fivers have just had a major update
seems a bit confusing
i had £6 to claim before the update and now i have £3.74????????????? with £14 pending... They didn't have pending before so not sure where that came from
