View Full Version : Mansioncasino.com 12,500 points - can anyone explain these wager requirements?

I just did the Mansioncasino.com offer through ipoints for the 12,500 points (when you deposit and wager £26) but seem to have hit a spot of bother.

If anyone understands how these gambling sites work could they advise me!

Here's what I did...

I deposited £26. They then doubled my balance to £52 (100% welcome bonus), even though I wasn't interested in this bonus as it has a stupid 35x wager requirement. I just wanted to bet all of my £26 for the ipoints.

The Mansion T&Cs for the welcome bonus say "any real money bets placed will be funded by a player's deposit first. Bonus funds will only be used once the deposit amount has reached $0."

So I bet all of my £26 and luckily I was £9 up at the end. I tried to withdraw this £35.

I then got an e-mail saying "We understand you now wish to cash-out your winnings. Unfortunately, we are unable to process your request until you comply with our promotional bonus policy by wagering £885.00 on appropriate games."

I don't understand what they're saying. I bet with my own money, not the bonus money, and now I just want my money and winnings back.

Would be grateful if anyone could explain what I've done wrong! Thanks!

I think it's fairly standard that if you take the bonus you have to bet a certain amount before you can cash out. I've not tried that site so I can't say about there being an option for not taking the bonus, but on other sites there is.

I've had the same thing, though there was no option not to take the bonus so it is really unfair I couldn't get any sense out of them and then just bet the lot on one number on roulette. Its gone now so I don't have to worry!

Thanks Tucker. But I thought that by only betting my own money, and leaving the bonus money completely untouched, I'd be unaffected by the 35x wager requirement. However it seems the 35x wager requirement ALSO applies to your own money before they'll let you withdraw it (the T&Cs don't make this clear IMO).

alot of these sites have weird wagering requirements and as soon as you put money in they required you to play through that money x amount of times even though its your own money. These sites are usually based off shore and so its very hard to do anything about it...
If i use these site i usually work on losing all my deposit for the return of the cashback. If there is little profit in the cashback i'd advise people to stay away from them

if any bonus money credited at time of register you are then bound by the T/C for playthrough before any withdraws, some sites have the option to opt out of the bonus money at start so can withdraw instantly.
While others credit bonus automatic not heard of the site in question and 35x is way higher than most before withdrawal.

They make the terms as vague as possible for us:rolleyes:

Thanks for all the comments folks. Even if you lose the whole £26 it's still clearly a great deal for £50 of gift vouchers, but I still can't help feeling that Mansion aren't playing fair by refusing to give me one penny back of my own money and winnings.

Their T&Cs don't actually say that you can't have your own money (and winnings earned with your own money) back, but that is what they are saying to me in the e-mail.

The T&Cs imply that all those silly requirements only kick in if you use the bonus money and I didn't touch the bonus money (nor did I want it).

So in a nutshell, you deposit your own money, wager it, win the games fair and square, but you can't have any of it back unless you bet it 35 times by which stage the chances are you'll have lost it all! Ridiculous. That's not my idea of how a casino works.

mum1964 - no I haven't had the points yet but I think I read on here or MSE that it takes up to 30 days. I'll be kicking off big style if I don't get them! EDIT: I'll update this thread if and when I do get the points.
