the rubber seal has broken on my pressure cooker. as i bought it abroad the make is not known here to get the replacement. i have found replacements for the prestige high dome and prestige ultra but they do not say what size they are. if anyone has either of these models could you measure the rubber seal. i need 10", thanks

We have an old Prestige and the Outside Dia = 9.5 inches and Inside Dia = 8.5 inches.

Maybe wait and see what others say with newer models.

What is the make/model do you have?

Why I asked for make/model is if you can find it in Europe you may be able to order one.

I recently bought a spare wheel nut key for our Ford cost from Ford £25 or more if they would get one as they said they could not, a quick Google and Email to the company in Germany and had it delivered for £8.

I think the Prestige high dome gasket might fit your pressure cooker. My Prestige high dome gasket measures 10" dia after continuous use for almost an year.

clh - - have you considered going to an Engineering supplies wholesaler, buying a 12" square piece of suitable thickness rubber, and cutting a gasket to fit your p cooker

i recieved the Prestige high dome gasket i ordered but its too small, it measures 9 3/4. although only 1/4" small over the diameter it makes a difference. maybe i should look where to buy a piece of rubber like grace & favour suggested or buy a new pressure cooker
