This is a good one if you want to work as a bingo CM or do editorial writing. I know quite a few people who have got jobs through these - mainly as editorial writing. No experience was necessary (apart from a bit of knowledge about bingo and/or casino's) and they earn about £50 a week for around 5 hours work.

How much will you actually be better off by going back to work full time after paying child care costs, petrol, lunches buying more convienience foods etc
depending on what job you do it may be more ecconomical to stay at home , enjoy your children, do more shopping aound and more home cooking, there are many things we think are important or essential, but perhapes in a childs eye are not, i have given up work, and i am financially better off, the holidays abroard are not important, being there to help my children with their GCSE's A' level work is more important to me.
i know perhapes this may not be a 'luxury open to all', but i have spoken to some people to work in factories at night so they their children can have the most expensive trainers, priorities differ with different people, as do their circumstances.

My thought exactly , i have been in a job i love for 4 years, i have cut down to 2 days a week one day there grandma has them and the other day is a saturday so there dad is at home. i saw a job advertised thats full time earning axp 6k more than i would going back to my own job full time, after paying child care fees though i would only be £200 a month better off !!! thats not deduction petrol etc either so would be less, i would be working a extra 25 hours a week too - madness !!!

we have really tightend up on our food shop, i cook from scratch virtually every day we cope fine on the money we earn but we REALLY want to get married next year ( a luxury i know !) i need an extra £300 a month to get what i need so hence looking at finding a top up on my income xxx

you are very sensible lizzie, congratulations on getting married nest year
Again, think about getting married involves and what you percieve people think you should do for a wedding, believe i have always done everything on a budget, usually is great success, lol.
Also perhapes think about what you already have got/ don't really need to what you really need/want there is a difference.
ok an example out of the air? you may have a large lcd tv do you need it when a conventional one will do, sell it buy the dress if that is what you feel is a need, i am only using examples, all i try to do is get people to think about things in a different way.

the venue we are hoping to pay deposit on next week is amazing , and yes not tottaly neccessary BUT we are willing to make sacrafices in other areas, we are getting married on our 10 year anniversary which happens to fall on a thursday , this has over halfed the venue cost !!!! plus they want an extra £450 for us to hold civil ceremony there i have managed to get this waived, we also have the option of cancelling daytime meal nearer the date and just serve a drink each and oversized canapes and go straight into evening party,.
i have brough my rings from goldsmiths already - so cost me nothing !!!!
there are pure luxury extras we plan on having , charicature etc but we dont have to give these a deposit so will wait till nearer the time to see how finances are.

we dont have any home luxurious really other than the pc, i have no sky tv, no playstations or plasmas etc so nothing to sell really, will sort out odd bits for ebay though and use that money to buy bits for wedding xxx
