Hoping to use deals to get to Florida in May/June with kids for a couple of weeks. Their dad lives there with his new wife and they can't afford to see the kids any other way as they're suffering badly with the recession over there. So, it'll be a holiday for me and DH and possibly the last chance for the kids to see their dad for a very long time. They don't know about it yet, they're good boys and it'll be a surprise for them.

I am going to Cyprus in May for 2 weeks and we probably get a caravan in the august somewhere hopefully or a long weekend somewhere. I also have some more vouchers to go on another holiday but would have to have time off unpaid so not sure whether to wait until next year!

We went a bit mad, and have 3 holidays (too many vouchers to use up lol).
In May we are going to Portugal, in a villa with Cosmos holidays. In July we are going to the South of France on a boat. And in August we are hiring a villa near Florence with Independent Travellers. I've just finished booking the flights for the France & Italy trips, quite expensive so will have to come out of savings.
And now I'm saving up for the other costs, as Euros are more expensive now. My OH is so excited about all the trips, think I am now that the flights are sorted, but it's easy to forget all the extra costs when you get carried away booking things. Hope we all have good holidays.

Going to Rhodes in September. (with Thompsons) went to Lanzarote last month, paid for with deals (Cosmos) I sent back some unused deals to be recredited, a few phones sent off, a few ink cartridges sent off and with my normal shopping, I should have about £350/£400 converted at the end of next quarter, so if possible I would like to book something else later on in the year with Cosmos

We are going to Boston & New York in April, (booked cheap flights when the Expedia.au glitch was on and booked hotels through Priceline), have got one night in a Travelodge in York booked for early May (£9) & flights to Paris booked for later on in May. (I still need to sort that accommodation out.) I am hoping that we will also be able to afford to go away for for 7-10 days in July but am waiting for inspiration (or a glitch!) to strike as to where I fancy.
My boys are now 18 and no longer want to come with us but they do keep passing comment (in jest) that we are spending their inheritance! When they were younger (and we had very little money) we spent many a happy year having coastal caravan holidays.

From 28th Aug we are going to France in a villa for two weeks near Quimper / Benodet with the girls who will be just turned 2 - should be fun! Have already started to get things together to keep them amused as we are driving down to Poole on the Friday and staying over in a hotel to get the ferry on Saturday - didn't fancy an overnighter as I get seasick and didn't relish the thought of having to sleep on deck if meds don't work. Booked our ferry on Wednesday so am REALLY excited now!!! Used deals to pay for the villa and hotel but couldn't use for the ferry so had to pay cash.
Am looking for a couple of trays which can fit onto the carseats for the girls so they can draw and read - have only managed to find them in America so far but if anyone knows of anywhere in this country, please let me know - Ta.
Hubby has been to the South of France a few times but I am a new visitor - have got the girls two english / french word picture books at home and they already know more French than me!!!
Apart from that we are going to go camping in the lakes and somewhere else but don't know where yet. EDITED after seeing DeeDee's post - maybe we could camp in your back garden too!!!

No, we are going to St Malo - it was the only option we had for the fast ferry. The less time I spend on a ferry the better:p
Thanks, am so pleased it is a lovely area - neither of us have been there so it was a bit of a gamble but we couldn't drive too far down with the girls.

They are Britax first class - there are some britax ones about but I think they are generally for the seats with arms. There are a couple which clip on the sides but it doesn't mention the first class as an option, I am however going to ring britax in the morning. Havn't tried ebay yet, will have a browse later.

How about these?
Have looked at these before but it was a while ago and could only find a seller in America - thanks for the link, I haven't seen this seller so thanks for finding. These do look good as they will fit multiple seats so will get plenty of use from them - I think the girls will grow out of their Brotax seats by next year!
I am also considering buying a portable dvd player to keep them amused - or is that bad:o (for travelling only, will go away upon arrival!)

I know, are they too young for headphones??:D - they have a book called 'twinkle, twinkle little star' by Kate Toms, is a bit like the rhyme but more story to it and we have had to read it every morning and night however many times over I can do since christmas. I used to think it was a really sweet story and now I hate it with a vengeance and could quite happily smack Kate Toms around the head should we ever meet.

Just had our two weeks in The Gambia, half board with Cosmos, wholly paid for by Mr T and going to book The Gambia again for next March, which will be three-quarters paid for by Mr T.
I think that will be the end of Mr T's hols for the foreseeable future.
Off to Hisaronu in Turkey for three weeks in July - bargain flight of £147 return. This will be our 20th year in Turkey - how sad is that.
Egypt all-in in September for a week (somewhere I have never been).

didn't fancy an overnighter as I get seasick and didn't relish the thought of having to sleep on deck if meds don't work. Booked our ferry on Wednesday so am REALLY excited now!!! Used deals to pay for the villa and hotel but couldn't use for the ferry so had to pay cash.[/B]
jam - we went on a ferry to amsterdam and it was the most horrendous crossing, really stormy north sea, the best part was going to bed as lying down i didn't feel sea sick anymore. try putting cotton wool in your ears this is meant to help sea sickness.
