Ok, so we all like a rant but today i'm going to go the opposite way.....

My OH was at home today as he started a 4 day week this week. I expected him to laze in bed all morning then laze on the sofa in front of TV all afternoon. However he called me during my luchbreak like normal and i was whinging that i was a bit cranky as i'd creaked my neck and was in pain.

When i got home i was greeted by a clean house, dishes done, bed made and a candlelit bubble bath (he'd also written all over the tiles with our bath crayons how much he loved me:love:) and a very large glass of wine, when i got out he offered a lovely hot stone massage (I didn't even have to put out for it!:eek:lol) then he cooked me tea of steak and chips, yummy :D

I'm still grinning, don't know what I did to deserve him

So who or what has brightened your day?

My lovely husband did something wonderful for me - last wednesday was my birthday and from inside my card fell booking info for a mini cruise and I had about 3 hours to pack etc. It was also our anniversary (5 yrs) on Valentines Day and we were on our way back but as I opened my card this time a voucher for an onboard spa experience fell out and I spent the time between France and UK having a wonderful massage/exfoliation treatment and facial. Bless him!

What made my trip even more special was I bought some laughing cow triangles with a limited edition storage tin in Spain (destination) - my weight loss thread friends will understand! - and when I opened one today I found a 30 euro coupon inside (also worth 28p in sterling, with a 99 barcode and it scanned a treat in T's!) Yay! See couponing is a universal language!

Yes hun but he will have you so loved up - you will have to put out later lol xxx

George makes me smile, because one day he wants to be a policeman - the next he wants to join the army, then he says he wants to be a paramedic so he can come to the hospital I work and see me every day and cuddle me... Hes 6 he will learn lol xx

Lili makes me smile because she is so ferocious (sp) and in the next breath will be sat there making me an award from anything she can find (inc of empty tampax boxes, my recycling bin is never safe when she is feeling creative), telling me I am the best mum..

Anastasia is my clone and I can see so much of myself in her... A lazy but very bright girl - Prefers doing things with her hands and despite being a witch, is the most loving and motherly child I have met.

Happiness is seeing my 15 year old son pick up his dirty socks up from the middle of the living room floor without me having to 'NAG' him to do it, lol :D

When my kids lie in in the school holidays, then climb into my bed in the morning. All 3 of us lie there snuggled up whilst my DS sings "mummy mummy mummy I've got love in my tummy". Bless!

Any of you lot up for PTS Wife Swap? :o

My DS makes me smile lots cos he thinks I'm fab. And because he's developed this little ritual when he goes into school - he gives me a big hug, says "hug huggetty-hug-hug", then gives me a load of kisses and says "kiss kissetty kiss kiss". OK it's a bit soppy, but I'm making the most of it while he's still willing to be seen hugging or kissing me - I'm sure it won't last very long!

A random lady in a cafe today.

We'd been to a museum this morning and I took my three children into a cafe for some lunch. We were sitting eating and a lady from another table walked past and said it was nice to see such well behaved children with excellent table manners, and I should be proud of myself. I'm still grinning about it :D
