my hubby bought himself a mont blanc roller ball recently and he would really like a mechanical pencil, i cant afford a mont blanc but wondered if any of you lot knew of another good one?
and yes i know there is suitable hb pencils but you dont know my husband!!!!! when he got his mont blanc i asked him what was wrong with a bic :der:

Cross make lovely traditional mechanical pencils Muppet - -- mine are still going after 32 years!

I was going to suggest Cross aswell,my dad ran a pen shop for many years,& Cross was always the pencil to recommend over Parker ,Sheaffer etc

thanks for the recs but now i know they sell a couple in goldsmiths i think i will have to get one of them, they are yard-o-led or dupont £200+ (am i mad!!!!!)
