If you get a parking ticket you can upload your 'story' on to majicari people vote and they pay the winning story fine up to £60, they are sponsered by various companies who give them cash to pay fines, hope that makes sense of it a bit more

Yay I won thanks guys :D means I now have to find £45 rather than £105
They have to be real I'm assuming they call the council and pay off the cash directly, it also takes a few days for your story to get approved so I assume they check its legitimate first (not the story that would be impossible but the fact you were issued a ticket) Tickets round here are issued at £35 if not paid in 14 days it goes to £70 I picked up post from mums last week and found I had a fine, I emailed them and got the reply that it had gone up again I can't remember why I'm guessing pre court costs I'm not sure. When you post a story you have to give them the PCN number I imagine they check its legit from there

I have not had an email from them yet so unsure as to what happens really

They oonly pay a max of £60 - I suppose as they can go up a hell of a lot if your car ends up being towed away!

I had an email this morning asking for my address so they can post me a cheque when I pay it off the parking fine I have to send them the receipt.

Have u paid the ticket yet Khufu? You should of tried appealing it, I didn't even think you could get a ticket at night! I think it was police who must've issued it as asked for photo evidence and in 1 pic there is a big florescent blob!

Know one or two who have had tickets for parking in a loading bay, disabled badges are not exempt sadly.
