Not sure where to put this. I have done a search and could not find it anywhere.
i have a nationwide flex account to use abroad as you can withdraw money with no charge. However from 1st June there will be a charge in certain countries. There is a list on their website.
The charge will be added to credit cards from 6th May.

Hope this helps someone- and sorry if it has already been posted.

The 1% visa fee is bieng passed on, they are not loading the exchange rate though like the big banks do (up to 3%) so its not as bad as it could have been!
Ive been saving on the fairfx $ and € card recently- they exchange rate is close to the spot rate and there are no fees for using as purchases abroad- cash withdrawals are only $1 or 1€ so its a good deal.

Oh that's a shame, but at least it's not europe. US and NZ though. And at least there's not a transaction charge.

Using Nationwide Flex Account saved my daughter lots of money on her Gap Year trip in 2008.
Looks like my son won't be so lucky when he goes on his in 2011 ! Shame :(
