i fear you may be right and they will neg you, there is an option ebay will remove feedback if deemed abuse of feedback policy.
but as we all know ebay slow to act on anything

Have never really used ebay on my own-only through someone else account-but is there a way to inform/report this in advance incase anything is done??That way you'd be covering yourself.

No help to you but i would advise anyone who leaves neutral or negative feedback to put that person on your blocked buyer list.
It doesn't guarantee anything but makes it difficult for them to retaliate

Have they paid for the item yet?
princesskerry
9th March 2009, 15:19
I think you can leave feedback for the buyer but it has to be positive, but I would put there that the comments have been left in spite after auction no ???????????. To be honest if I'm looking at buying something if someone only has a few negatives or neutrals that wouldn't put me off at all.
So please dont be too disheartened if this person does do this, I know thats easier said then done though.

Good Luck with reporting it to ebay, hopefully they will have the intelligence to see what is going on.

What do i do?
Possibly what they will do is not pay until very late on day 6 after the sale, just before you start the unpaid item thing. And then they will pay with an e cheque which takes up to 10 days to clear. Or ask if they can send you a cheque which will take a week to arrive and then you have to take to the bank and its another 5 days to clear...
I've even had one buyer, just before I could start the unpaid item thing, literally, about an hour of so before day 7, they deregistered :(

Sorry if I have caused confusion.....you got the right person ;)
I was meaning she could well have come back with a new name so far unknown to the Mods and so be reading anything posted on here ;)
If she does try coming back with a new name, she will be removed as soon as Mods are aware.

So a bit of a nerve racking wait for payment, mind you some people are only on ebay at the weekends.
What happens to parcels not collected from the sorting office? Do parcelforce items go to a special depot or the nearest sorting office?
It used to be a week after non collection but I dont know how long things actually take to get back to you.
I had an envlope sent signed for which was refused delivery, despite my address on the back and inside it took 42 days to get back to me via the PO depot in Northern Ireland for items with no address

You could always send the buyer a polite email saying that you are tracking the parcel location - -and it's currently at the Sorting Office awaiting their collection . . .
It might help speed things up . . . .:)

I think it might be worth calling customer services tommorow, give them all the info, where and when it was posted, find out where the parcel will be held and how long for and what happens if its not collected, if the prcel will come back to you , how and when.
Our Customer Services team is here to help from 8am - 6.00pm, Monday to Friday and 8am – 1.00pm on Saturdays. Just call 08457 740 740.

Georgie, sorry hun, but you don't need to be a member of PTS to read the majority of the threads on here. I thinks its only a few of the Tesco sections that are members only. The rest of the forum is available for anyone with internet access to read.
Try logging off, and then you can see what is available to non reg peeps.

Words fail me, when I saw this thread had updates this morning I knew the worst must have happened. At least you are prepared with all your receipts and copies of emails etc
Bascially what this person is doing is buying something bulky from a person who get them a negative (with justification), take ages to pay, be out all week when the van comes to deliver it,ignore emails from the seller saying it has been sent and where it is, dont bother picking it up from the PO and then put in a claim for an undelivered item and a negative and say the seller never told you it was coming on the van, you never had a PO card.
Very vindictive. Seller now has to put in a claim with the PO for a lost parcel (even though she knows its sitting in a PO sorting office) which cant be done for two weeks, yet more paper work and the PO takes ages to deal with these forms. So dont refund the buyer until this form is dealt with by the PO

At least you sent it trackable and you know it sitting at the sorting office waiting collection and you have the proof and she hasn't a leg to stand and plus you sent email saying it was waiting at the sorting office for collection.
