Has anyone used/seen the type of pushchairs they hire out in alton towers? Are they the really sturdy ones like they have in disneyparis?

My daughter is 5 stone and I wondered if they would be up to carring her weight?

Reason being my 10yr old daughter has been up all night with a sickness bug, we should be there now but have delayed to see how she is. She seems alot better (stopped the sickness) but not sure she can cope with alot of walking today, we are booked in the hotel so hoping she will be feeeling over the worst by tomorrow. I know its cruel to take her really but she, and my son have really been looking forward to it and if we dont go today we loose all our money as too late to change reservation now :(

Don't know if they are the same as DLP but they are more like ride-on's for the kids. look Very sturdy!

They aren't the same as DLRP - kind of a cross between those and a ride in car really, but look pretty sturdy to me.

thx to both of you, need to spread it around a bit so I cant rep u at the mo.

Just so anyone else knows they are very much like a cosy coupe car in pushchair form. I got the double as it had more leg room and both my 10 yr old and 6 yr old got in it together towards the end of the day! It was very easy to push as well :) we would even think about getting one again even if we didnt have a sick child with is :)

Glad to hear that hun. Be careful, a few up (inc mine) here have a sorta recurring bug thing, you think they are better, then 8 hours later their temps climbing again.

Take care, xxx
