Bumping this much needed thread up!

Found in Poundland today various teels, paint scraper, screwdriver etc with black and white cow handles - dont ask me why

LED mini aluminium torch with a blue magnalite lookalike casing, press button at the base. The light is very bright, really good buy. Useful to have in your dressing gown pocket/ neext to the bed, shine this in the face of any burgalar and it would blind them :D

Best find was "The Fastest Diesel book" cover price 19 - really interesting book, OH well impressed - great to put some of these aside as Christmas/birthday presents.

Yes a good offer. The cans were two sets of six for 5 in T last week - 12 cans for 5 so these would be 12 cans for 4 in poundland. Also a good idea to buy just 3 to start with incase it gets refused

Is it o.k to post 99p shop bargains too?
our local 99p shop had large bags(1 kg) of cadburys highlights instant chocolate powder.
its says for machines only on the bag but that just means the powder is finer and easier to mix.
It is so nice and works out less than a penny a cup.

Went to Boots today and paid 5.99 for Zovirax cold sore cream. Crossed the road to Poundland and saw cold sore cream with the same ingredients (different name - in yellow box) for 1!

In Poundland today they had tube reading glasses. They look really nice and come in different colours and magnification. The tube is metal and has a clip on it and the frames are the same colour as the tube. Mine are a lovely metallic blue:)

Tesco do their own make of this and whilst not 1 its about 2.99 and is exactly the same ingredients as Zovirax plus you can ask for one of their goodie bags when buying at the Pharmacy counter.

Nintendo DS accessories in my store today all of which retailed for 9.99 upwards. Got a lovely princess travel pouch tucked away for Christmas. Also Madonna's "Mr Peabody's apples" in hardback, another Christmas prezzie.
