This month is slightly better than last month but a big disappointment was from Pixmania declining my £40.xx cash back from an applemac I bought for neighbours son at Christmas.

Why have they declined it? The only thing I have had declined was an item I reserved from Comet ages ago and didn't collect (so perfectly understandable).

I don't understand how these merchants can offer cashback as an incentive then decline it when the sale (and contract) has been made?

If you do not do this, then other sites, which you may have visited prior to visiting Quidco (such as comparison sites, the retailers own site and search engines such as Google) may be credited with the commission, as this is how the affiliate system works.

Again, we do appreciate how you must feel but we can only pass on the cashback if the retailer pays us.

It'll be another referrer that's had the cashback . . I can only guess that you didn't clear your cookies before you went through Quidco

The ones I have received (3, total £2.36) are showing as paid 1st May? Usually if it says 'Paid' you will have had that, if it says 'Received' it is pending payment.

Paid 1st May means you should have been paid it today.

Well mine has been sent by quidco but not received by me yet, checked with quidco and has def been sent and checked with bank and def not received, they said should have been yesterday. I'm now really worried that it's been paid into someone elses bank account as when I log in to my quidco account and payment details it is showing as ****2345 but my account is actually 00123456. Not sure if this is how it shows for security reasons but I know I definatly entered my correct bank details when setting up the payments, so worried my 1st big payment, over £100 and 1st by bacs, hope someone else isn't spending it for me. :eek:

Hmmmm seems odd that you have 'definately' set your account details correctly yet now it has an extra digit in it! Very easy to typo it wrong.... would be very surprised if it had changed by itself. I always curse PayPal when changing bank details and having to go through the verification process but at least it prevents such a situation like this occuring.

Your only hope is that the account you entered doesn't exist, in which case it will be returned, but you need to speak to them asap. Although you are adamant you entered it correctly I would forget this approach and just say somehow it is wrong and you want to work with them to sort it out. You'll get a better response than telling them their system has changed your details and they need to sort it out.

Just re-read your post and you say this is your 'first big payment'. Have smaller payments gone in ok before, and if so have you definitely not gone in and amended it? If you have had small receipts ok then you would have a defense that it has been changed and not by you, as I am sure they should be able to tell you when/if it was changed, as opposed to having been set up wrong which was what I could but help assume. Sorry to by cynical but nobody likes to admit a cock-up!

Thanks for your replies, I've always been paid via paypal before but just recently changed to bacs (as payment due was over £50) so not had a bacs payment before, looks like I have mucked up.....big time, although I am certain I did put in correct bank details, I am always vary about entering details like that and do check and double check but seems to be the only explaination there can be, was kinna hoping someone was going to come back and say that the way it's showing on my quidco account was right. Just have to hope the details they have aren't an actual account and it's just sitting somewhere in the banking system, just when I though today couldn't get any worse. :(

Oh heck, good luck, like I say give them a ring and explain and fingers crossed they will say it has bounced back. It will all be automated so possibly if you phone them it will flag it up before they notice?

Just noticed an email from quidco dated May 31st to say I've got a payment of £10.75. Very curious, I've not done many on line shops, just a few for Marks.

Also says it will be paid into my account but I cant think which one but it must be bank account rather than paypal. So I check my account and there is no mention of this payment and my bank details dont appear to be there either????

It's paid to your bank account using no's and sort code - so shouldn't be affected.

@Homer J Simpson - this does point to your browser settings. Can you be sure to put your security settings to medium, not high. Also ensure JavaScript is enabled. Firefox is usually fine as that's what we use here. If you still have problems contact us via your support page and we'll try to help further.

@Deejay74UK - if your payments are rolling over there will be a reason. Can I ask you to raise a support message through your support page on your Quidco account please. We can then look into this for you.

Java is enabled and I don't think it's a security issue as everything else up until recently has tracked (and still do on & off), I've not changed any setting or installed anything new for a while so don't understand why it's happening.

I only have problems with Quidco when it's a large transaction - funny how they never track. Also those that do track sstay like that for about 8 months usually and then decline. No point chasing it because I just get told it's too late then.

Most annoying with the huge sums I spend on ebay - the latest Quidco quirk is to have them paying out at £0.00! Any reason this is happening, Jules?

I love quidco - along with my points collecting I think of it as p/t income - my leisure spends! Over past three years i've managed £2416 paid (+ £455 for DH) and have approx £300 pending across the two accounts. Not a bad bonus for money that would have been spent anyway :)
