I've bought my OH one of the freeze and play ice cream maker balls for christmas, which makes a pint of ice cream, looks like good fun! :D

Anyway, i wanted to stock up on flavourings for it but all the ice cream flavourings i've found are on American sites and it's getting a bit close to crimbo to be ordering from overseas. Does anyone know any UK suppliers, or know what else to do to flavour it?
TIA

I'm not really sure what you mean by flavourings - when I make icecream I do it from scratch. Here are lots of recipes:

The nicest icecream I ever made (IMO) was a Gary Rhodes recipe which had little chunks of turkish delight in it. It was gorgeous but I can't find it now.

Looks better fun than the thing I had-giant jug that filled most of the freezer!!
As to flavours - I would get choc chips (or chop some choc up) and some mint essence and thats your mint choc chip sorted. And could you use milkshake powders-strawberry/raspberry/banana/choc ??

ooh, thanks Zaul, didn't think about using powders! just figure as it's more of a novelty so won't actually churn the mixture that i'll have to be careful with what to add as it may not mix well, so that sounds like a good idea.

Homemade lemon curd added to icecream is delice as is some chopped up crunchie bars.. think of what Macdonalds add to their Mc Flurry ices, think its chopped up after 8 mints at the moment.
