Wheres the best place to find reasonable but comfy ones. I don't mind spending up to £35. I really fancy this sort of thing but these are out of stock in my size. Definitely heeled but not skyscrapers. And black of course! Any ideas?

If you aren't a 'heely' person, go cheap and cheerful, so if you don't like them you can chuck them without the guilt!

And why stick to black.... I have some lush shoes (that i pinched off dolly daydream) that are black and glittery...look great dressed up or down :)

heels from new look are comfy, and i'm not a heels girl, they do wide fittings too so i can wear a 4 which helps

I do like heels just not too high! And glittery sounds nice. Need to stick to black tho to go with my NYE outfit ;)

I tried on a gorge pair of shoe boots in New Look but again a bit too high. Maybe I should just go with the flow, after all I do have my fold up shoes lol

Don't do Matalan, although they are cheap n cheerful but you will pay the price the next day. New Look are great and if you are going for high shoes go for a platform in the sole as they will not seem as high as your sole is raised IYSWIM.

I have got some great platform boots from Evans, New Look and Chockers - i don't know if you have one near you. If in doubt get some party feet.

Best place I've found for stunning party shoes is Quiz, have two absolutely beautiful pairs that are all hand embellished and they've been around £25 a pair.

Get yourself some of those gel pads which slip in the shoe and sit under the ball of your foot - I got some 'party feet' ones from Home Bargains and they are the best thing ever. I do not wear heels very much and when I do am crippled next day but these were great - managed to dance for four hours without taking my killer heels off!!!!

Well, I had these ones on last night http://www.quizclothing.co.uk/footwear/2202008706.html managed about 3 hours before I had to take them off for a little while. But I normally do suffer I'm afraid. If I'd had a pair of "party feet" in, I imagine it wouldn't have been quite so bad!

Oooh they are nice! It does get to a point of no return though, the party feet are good but I was still glad to get my shoes off once I had finished dancing! Actually I managed to get through a whole wedding day from 2.30pm until 12.30 am with them on so not too bad going!!

That is good going! As long as I can get a wee half hour rest with the shoes on then I'm generally fine. However, I'm notorious among friends for wandering around barefooted. Especially after a night out in Manchester when i ended up in A&E getting the bottom of a bacardi breezer bottle removed from my foot!

Have I learned a lesson? Yeah, watch where you are dancing barefoot and don't do it in nightclubs, lol. :D
