I was £1.17 off my target of a grand in 2009, sorry I gave up with the monthly challenges had much stuff going on, was thinking about restarting this year, maybe doing the monthlies again is easier to keep track of with current ones in first thread? Diff person can take charge each month then as is a bit of work constantly searching! Hoping for another grand this year so I'm defo in gonna start now!

To me Quidco is a bonus, it depends what the quotes are, so I don't set a target really. Good luck to everyone, I'll happily post how I am doing and how much I get and will do my best to remember to go thru Quidco where I can, but won't be setting myself any targets.

You are taking a pointless risk setting your payment limit at £500. If Quidco goes bust, you've lost your money (well, most of it, a few pence per pound would be recovered but ....). You may argue the chance of them going bust is slim, but why chance it?

You get money for visiting certain sites each day.
The High street Web (http://www.quidco.com/the-high-street-web/) 4p 2 daily
Kelkoo (http://www.quidco.com/kelkoo) 1p once daily

Raffles has just saved me the time of posting exactly the same thing.
I cannot say strongly enough the risk you are taking :nono:
I've been using Quidco for a couple of years and have received in excess of £2500. I would not have wanted to lose any of this.
A much better idea is to set your payments to around £10 and then when you receive payments put them in a deposit account away from your daily spending.
Seriously, do not risk losing your money.

I think what peeps mean is don't set it to save it up within Quidco. Get them to transfer the money to somewhere more secure and safe like an Icelandic bank or invest it with Lehmann Bros, Equitable Life or suchlike ;-)

Exactly. Just look at how many big companies have gone bust in the last 12 months.
If anything happens to Quidco, which I hope it doesn't, then all funds still in Quidco accounts will be lost.

2nd January 2010, 11:51
I always leave mine to rack up til Nov/Dec and get one huge payout but I suppose it is a bit risky and if I get it transferred to an account I don't use I can either
1) Pay it off the last of my credit card each month - saving even more in the long run
2) save it til xmas again
I think I'll go for the 1st option I will be changing my payout amount from £1000 down to 1p as it does make more sense as even if you don't have debts at least transferring it to a savings a/c gains you a little interest.
Thanks guys for highlighting this as I'm sure many of us have a few debts and paying them off sooner is always the best bet

don't forget high street web - visit the site twice each time you click through - first you get just a search box then a page with varying content, that counts as one click just do it a couple of hours apart.

I have not had a daily click track since 29 December :(
As well as High Street Web and Kelkoo I do It's your view. You get 70p for a completed survey, but it usually says there are none available and you get 1p for trying. I would try more than once a day and would sometimes get a survey even if said earlier in the day there were none available. Although as I've said nothing at all has tracked since 29 December when I had High Street Web x 2, Kelkoo and It's your view x 3.

I have just tried for some free SIMS. It's been ages since I did those, so thought as it's a new year may be worth a try. They have o2, T-mobile and TESCO ones. Just have to see if they track. Neither of my High Street Webs have tracked and I am missing 1 kelkoo click:(

Orange have ended the offer on free SIMs but T Mobile seems to work (offering £1). Tesco Mobile are offering £4.50 for an activated SIM. Anyone know whether it costs money to activate the SIM. Do I need to buy credit for that?
Also, I noticed that there is £8 offered for a free trial of Experian credit report. Has anyone done this?

There is like 20p on the sim so you don't have to do anything :)
Just make a call to your landline or something, I think you might have to put in an enquiry to get the £4.50 but maybe that was just me!
