Seem to have blown up another microwave here, and do use it rather a lot.
Anyone seen any cheap ones on their travels?
Would prefer silver, but not that bothered if white much cheaper.

Argos had a half price cookworks on about £45 I think, noticed it yesterday because mine is that make. I used to blow mine up a lot too but now I always make sure to use the food covers from the 99p store in case splatters were causing it!

Will look at argos thanks.
The thing that seems to be the worst is the low fat super noodles (eat a lot of them as they're free on slimming world). Even in a container with a lid on and a tiny opening at the top they just splatter everywhere.

I bought this one when my oh blew mine up (left it running with nothing in it!!) and it's fab. I like the quick start button which goes up in 30 second intervals and it's small but fits a full size Denby plate inside with no problems. It was half price when I bought it so it seems like Argos systematically reduce Cookworks ones.
