I got an email this morning saying I had got a tracked purchase, which was a surprise to me as I hadn't bought anything for a couple of weeks. However, when I opened it, it was cashback for a #45 pair of Timberlands that I bought at 50% off in Austin Reed last week.

I signed up for the Quidco in-store cashback when it launched even though I never actually expected to use it, given that I never shop in the merchants featured. However, I thought I had nothing to lose. I had totally forgotten Austin Reed was part of it, so the cashback was a pleasant surprise.

Just a reminder that you should sign up for this if you haven't already as you never know ... It is also a good reason to offer to pay the bill with your card if you go to any of the qualifying pubs or cinemas with a group of friends!

I also got cash back from Sports Direct - I'd forgotten about the in-store cashback too!

Just have to try to remember to use the credit card I registered - I've also had surprise cashback from Sports Direct (I HATE that shop! Its like a jumble sale and the staff are so unhelpful)
