From MSE;

UPDATE 17 August 2011 9.50am: 10,000 codes have now gone. A new link will go up in a few hours for the next 10,000 codes. We're staggering it so everyone has a fair chance from the weekly email.

The page doesn't detail the offer (except in the ts and cs) but RedSpottedHanky will credit 10 to your account within 72 hours (it'll display as 1,000 loyalty points). Tick the box on the payment page to use it.

There's no minimum spend, so, in other words, if you're buying a ticket that only costs a tenner (or less) you get it free - otherwise you just pay the difference. The e-voucher's valid until 31 Dec 2012.

Martin's newsletter also says this offer can be used in conjunction with Tesco Rewards :) so that is useful but it is only for new members of Red Spotted Hanky so I will need to apply using OH's name.

I noticed the same, however when it clicked through to the Visa authorisation page the amount less the 10 showed as amount requiring authorisation. So, it does work but appears it won't right to the last stage!!

Quick question.

Assume you buy a 10 or less ticket with the 10 of points so total cost of 0 or less.
You want to collect the ticket from a self-service machine at a railway station.
Since you never actually used a debit or credit card, will the machine allow you to collect the ticket without a card, just using the reference number?

Can you use the 10 evoucher credit to pay for a smaller amount ticket price say 3.20 so leaving still in your account 6.80?

you still need a card and RSH ticket reference number to activate the tickets ( any credit / debit card will do )
