Just a reminder, anyone who only has Sky Sports for the Footy, downgrade now until the new season and save yourself a few pounds!

Also use this site to save money on phoning them! ;)

I've just done a search for sky and it came up Chirpy.

The landline is: 01506 831781, there's a freephone number too but I seem to remember that doesn't put you through.

My Oh is watching cricket at the moment. I mentioned down grading & the answer is not suitable for viewing on here.

Im not saying cricket rules our lives but DS2 played tonight, goes to practise on Fridays & has another match on Sunday. OH plays on Saturday.

Thank heavens DS1 is too busy working or we'd be out most nights of the week

I have to say I forgot to do that and used the 0844 number - it was only when I posted on here I remembered. Didn't have to wait all day for them to answer though - for once!

Now I wonder what sort of response I would get if I told hubby I was cancelling sports!!!!! don't think I can repeat it on here

You can waste so much money with this sort of thing. Taking sports off over the summer takes the overall cost down over the year. Next months bill is down to £9 odd because of when our DD goes out.

It's only while the season is over. As soon as the footie season starts again, I'll be on the phone!

I know, even though we aren't playing in this summer's matches I am sure hubby will be watching the footy anyhow.... may test the waters see what response I get :)

p.s. Suzywoo, I will tell him it was your idea :D

LOL You do that. I am sure a lot of the euro's are on terrestrial anyway. Also, he could use the money saved to watch it down the pub with a couple of beers! ;)

It's only because the dd has gone out for the month, so we'll get a credit against the bill!
