    Default Animal Testing

It has recently occured to me that quite a few of the products I have in the bathroom, do not have printed on the label 'this product is not tested on animals' or similar

Does anyone know of a resource which lists the manufacturers and products, and whether or not they do animal testing?

I can not bear to think that animals have suffered just so that I can use shampoo etc.

    Thank you monkeypuzzle

It appears I am very guilty of using plenty of products where animal cruelty has taken place

According to the compassionate shopping guide, from Naturewatch, the only products stocked by Tesco which are cruelty free are:

    King of Shaves (men's care)
    Organic Blue (men's care)
    Wizz Products (household)

The Tesco Naturally household range and bNaturals range of toiletries are also cruelty free.

The shopping guide contains 80 pages, so the list of cruelty free products is too long to list here, although if anyone is concerned about a particular product you are welcome to ask me to confirm whether or not that product is cruelty free.

I am horrified to learn that almost all of the products in my household is not cruelty free so I personally will be making the necessary changes since I do not wish to support animal cruelty.

I know surprising isn't it Angel - some of the things you don't even consider until you read into it!

Making sure I don't buy products from companies directly or indirectly involved with Animal Testing is a decision I've made for 2008 under this thread here:
