    Default Don't forget your stamps!

    Hey all,

Think I may have seen this posted soemwhere else so sorry if I'm stealing it off someone but just a reminder to save all your stamps off letters etc as charities can raise money from them! I have an envelope in a draw that I throw the used stamps in and once they are done pick a charity that will accept them!

Good idea... the library in work does it and they have a huge book which often gets sent to charities

Not quite sure what happens to the stamps but the sell the by the kilo.

There are lots of charities that collect stamps - here are just a few :

what I tend to do is pick a charity and then approach them to see if they accept stamps

Guide Dogs for the Blind used to collect them not sure if they do them still - maybe we could have a nominated charity for PTS stamps??
