Thread: Anyone know of charities that want used stamps??

    yeah the thick plastic tops - on milk they are either red , green or blue - that type of plastic - knew about the milk bottle tops but if we can include the tops off other bottles in there then its even better

    haha yeah if you want - there is a woman i know (who used to work a Tesco funny enough - thats how we met her - she used to serve us every lunchtime - then when she left we kept in contact and still see her on a regular basis) - she collects them for he childrens school - he has a black bag full of them - once its completely full she gives it to the school

    Do you know how they use them to raise money?

    I quite often have heard people are collecting for one reason or another and wondered how they converted them in to money?

    I am a member of the school PTFA and we are always looking for ways to raise cash.

    Their website says they collect plastic bottles and bottle tops. Minimum collection is 500 kgs.

    I've been collecting stamps for my local dogs home, The amount they get paid varies but usually around 1200 per year which helps with their food bill.
    I've caught it - The Tesco Bug - that is - Florida holiday August 2008 was awesome!!
