    well i went to aldi again yesterday and got a huge 2kg bag of pasta for 99p! this will last me a few years lol, it says 100% extra free on it.
    Mortgage overpayments have shaved my mortgage term by 16 years so far

    I got six of them ...... and then made one of my sons carry it to the Harvest Festival at the chapel this morning I think this year everything is being passed on to the Salvation Army - I hope they know some large families!

    mhoc - my mum had a grab rail fitted to her bath free. We rang social services, they assessed her then it was fitted - just a thought! My mum thinks it's the best thing since sliced bread as well!

    conference pears - 49p
    suede - 29p

    and pack of kiwi i think it was 6 for 49/59p

    Is it real leather suede or faux suedette for 29p?

    Just joking with you hunny I'm assuming it was swede? Thanks for listing, being going to Aldi quite a bit since Tesco points dried up.

    turnip and swede are different things, but if u tell me to buy turnip i'll get swede!

    All I know is when I was little we never hollowed out a pumpkin at Holloween, for some reason (prob cheaper ) we always had a swede, took bloomin ages to carve and then stunk foul as the candle burned in it

    I remember that well avstar, I don't think pumpkins were available in those days. I always thought a swede was a turnip, until I got married and my DH thought I was so ignorant for not knowing the difference.
