    ...I used to really like the idea of feeding birds til my neighbor started feeding well over 200 pigeons and black birds and such....its like a scene from the movie BIRDS...

    ....and the noise !!!

    Have lots of feeders in the garden and they need refilling almost daily.. also dont foget water which can be in short suppli when everything is frozen

    Just waiting for OH to come home and venture out into the garden to hang them up

    Thanks Tiger just bouught some hay, coconut balls and food while out today. The birds need the hay for their nests

    bought my dad a big tub of bird seed from argos for about a tenner ...should help feed them throughout the winter ..

    the birds have slowed down eating from our feeders.
    we have a wall full of ivy that still had berries on it until the big freeze came(climate change?)
    now all the berries have dropped off and the birdies are loving them.
    never seen a squirrel in our garden

    tesco value muesli is liked by the birds,also peanut butter sandwiches cut into cubes,or any fatty spread,1 use scissors for this,i also fill hangers with value digestive biscuits or even the 9p shortbreads,bacon rinds,grated cheese and apple cubes,give em a party
