I voted pointless Dom as I think it should be obvious.
I do truly think Suzy's post was tongue in cheek Dom.
As long as I have been on this forum you have been up for a laugh, don't know why but this seems to have changed.
I hope the fun and slightly riske Dom returns soon.

Funny how it is clearly thought to be pointless but despite asking for it to be closed it is still here, which just makes me wonder why!?
    Dom calm down!

Nobody has 'Dom-bashed', I thought the option Suzy added was quite funny- I didn't know people had complained in the past about the smilie.

Take it as it was meant- a joke and don't bite people's heads off because they dare to like the third option

Personally, I find less offensive than which has been used in the opening post.

obviously means different things to different people.
    To me, it means why-on-earth-did-I/you/he.she/it/we/they-do-that?
What does it mean to others?

We used it at school to mean thick or stupid but that was a long time ago.

It depends on how it is used.
    same as Duh for me.

same here...thick, stupid etc etc..and no, it wasn't long ago at all, (feels like) just yesterday in fact Personally, I always think of it as Homer Simpson (the 'real' one, not 'our' one!) saying 'doh'! And yes, use it on myself in some contect as CM (blonde moments!) but think it can be seen as rude when using it in reference to someone else.

Although I think we could do with finding a missing sense of humour smiley this morning
