    Default waspinator - do they work?

    they mimic a wasps nests which wasps steer clear of!

    anyone got one?

    I was researching wasp repellent as OH hates them and apparently if you hang a clear bag up with water in and a few pennies it keeps them away!

    LOL That would get nicked round my area!!!

    Wasps do not return to old nests but I would guess it is more to do with smell that seeing the construction or something that looks like it. Does it also contain some chemical that mimics the smell of old wasp nests? If not I do not think it would work.

    (What's wrong with wasps anyway? They do a valuable job. I don't know what it was called but a year or so ago there was a long thread on wasps.)
